On Wednesday, 26 March 2014, Spencer Mott will discuss Information Security and Patient Privacy in the Biopharma Industry.  This is a joint meeting of the Buenaventura chapters of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society and IEEE Computer Society.

Abstract

Spencer Mott, Chief Information Security Officer at Amgen will provide a stimulating presentation on information security, patient privacy, and the Biopharma Industry.

About the Speaker

Spencer Mott is Amgen’s Chief Information Security Officer, and Vice President, Information Systems.  Prior to Amgen, Spencer spent six years at Electronic Arts, fifteen years in the Metropolitan Police (London, U.K.), and five years in media and copyright protection for a major film copyright trade association.

Registration:  No registration is required for this event.  Since this is a joint EMBS/Computer meeting, instead of our usual pizza, we will be offering an optional sit-down buffet-style dinner at 6 PM for $10.

Parking:  Do not park in the faculty/staff lots.  Free parking is available in the visitor lot at the corner of Olsen Road and Mountclef Boulevard.  Alternatively, CLU Public Safety has provided us with parking passes for on street parking.
